1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any violation of these Terms.

3. Services Provided

SafeConnect provides:

• A directory of STD testing centers and diagnostic labs
• Secure upload and verification of STD test results
• Generation of private verification codes (Clean Check ID / QR code) for sharing with chosen individuals or platforms
• API integration for dating/matrimonial platforms (with explicit user consent)

SafeConnect is NOT a healthcare provider, diagnostic lab, or medical service. We do not perform tests, interpret results, or provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Upload only your own genuine test results or results you are authorized to share
• Not impersonate any person or entity
• Not share your verification code with anyone you do not intend to disclose your status to
• Not use the Platform to harass, stalk, or harm others

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Uploading false, forged, or altered test results
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the Platform
• Using the Platform for commercial purposes without permission
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Violating any applicable law (including DPDPA 2023, IT Act 2000)

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (text, graphics, logos, software) is owned by SafeConnect or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Results or verifications are 100% accurate or tamper-proof
• The Platform is free from viruses or harmful components

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafeConnect, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SafeConnect harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or any law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app notice.
